With a passionate spirit of challenge, she stands confidently as a beautiful figure.

Esther Kim, the owner and chef of the party catering brand "Party Drama," launched in New York, has already gained fame in Korea as the successful CEO of a handmade lunchbox brand based in Apgujeong, Seoul.

The cover of the November issue of Mom & I features Chef Kim Ji-yeon, who has launched the party catering brand "Party Drama" in New York. Dressed in a black chef's uniform with a sleek bob and sparkling black eyes, she has made a name for herself in Korea. What began as a hobby of making lunchboxes gained popularity, leading her to establish "Party Drama," a lunchbox and handmade syrup company, in 2014. She has appeared on KBS programs such as "Mom is CEO" and "Handmade Lunchbox Sandwich Hotspot," and has been introduced as a "successful entrepreneur" in various media outlets.

Not only in Korea but also abroad, many have sought out Chef Kim's cooking and entrepreneurship classes. At the peak of her success, she left everything behind to pursue her studies, embodying the belief that "there is no age too late to challenge oneself." She flew to New York and enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), widely regarded as the best culinary school in the world. After completing an externship at the Jean-Georges restaurant and finishing the rigorous CIA program, she launched "Party Drama," an upscale party catering brand in New York.

Before studying at CIA, she hesitated to wear a chef's uniform, but now, with the knowledge and experience she has gained, she confidently chooses her uniform based on color and design. Despite her hands being rough from cooking and recipe development, she remains undeterred by the challenges, smiling brightly as she embraces her passion for cooking. Mom & I sends warm support to Chef Kim Ji-yeon!
